Forrest E. Hoglund
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Hoglund serves as Chairman of the Board of Managers and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SeaOne. He has had a distinguished career spanning more than 50 years in the oil and gas industry, much of that time in top management positions. Mr. Hoglund is the retired Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board of EOG Resources, Inc. and led the company until 1999. He also was President & CEO of Texas Oil and Gas Corporation, which eventually merged with USX Corporation in 1986. Mr. Hoglund began his career with Humble Oil (now Exxon Mobil Corp.) in 1956. He remained with that company for over 20 years through its transition into Exxon Corporation, working in various capacities, including that of Vice President of Natural Gas & Gas Liquids. Mr. Hoglund has enjoyed a successful business career, but his numerous philanthropic interests have also had a great impact on the communities where he lives. Over the years, he has raised almost $1 billion for educational, civic, and charitable causes. Mr. Hoglund and his family created The Hoglund Foundation in 1988 which has provided over $57 million in support to families and educational causes in Dallas. He also serves on numerous boards, some of which include M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, The Houston Museum of Natural Science, The National Petroleum Council, The Maguire Energy Institute, and the Center for Brain Health.
