Patented technology

logo CGLCompressed Gas Liquid™, or CGL™, is SeaOne’s proprietary and patented non-cryogenic gas solvation technology. CGL combines natural gas and NGLs into one liquid form, allowing for transportation and delivery of both as a single cargo.

SeaOne's proprietary CGL manufacturing process infuses the raw and hydrocarbon gas into the appropriate amount of a hydrocarbon solvent. The solution is cooled to a temperature of approximately -40°F (-40°C). The resulting liquid solution is stored at a moderate pressure of approximately 1400 psig (100 bar) and is the basis of the Morris, Agnew and Hall patent for the Compressed Gas Liquid (CGL®) system filed in August 26, 2004.

The company has received patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO") under the titles "Liquid Displacement Shuttle System and Method", "Method of Bulk Transport and Storage of Gas in a Liquid Medium" and "Storage of Natural Gas in Liquid Solvents and Methods to Absorb and Segregate Natural Gas Into and Out of Liquid Solvents".  SeaOne has further patents pending.

SeaOne has also received patents from international patent offices some of which include: The Registry of Patents Singapore, Australia, The State Intellectual Property Office of P.R. China, and The Federal Republic of Nigeria.

SeaOne Holdings, LLC has also received Trademark and Service Mark approvals from the USPTO and other world intellectual property organizations under the Paris Convention, The Madrid Protocol, and directly from other specific countries.
